CHAPTER NINETEEN

Natalie woke up with a smile on her face as Liz's hand slid over her hip, resting on her stomach, and Natalie covered her hand with her own, interlacing their fingers as she stretched her legs out and rolled onto her back.

"Morning," Natalie said in a sleepy voice.

"Good morning."

Natalie met Liz's warm eyes as they both smiled, almost shyly, and images from last night came flooding into her mind. Natalie had no idea what time they finally went to sleep, probably only a few hours ago. She knew how attracted she was to Liz, how much she wanted her, but Liz was like a woman possessed. She was so attentive, so eager to please Natalie, and it made her fall for her even harder.

Natalie's breath hitched as Liz's hand slid further down her stomach, cupping her sex through her panties. Natalie's hips reflexively rose to meet her touch.

"I really want to pick up where we left off last night," Liz whispered, her voice practically oozing sex, "But I need a shower first."

Natalie's stomach growled as she rolled onto her side to face her. "And breakfast maybe," she said as her cheeks darkened slightly.

"That too..."

"Have a shower. I'll go downstairs and get started on breakfast."

"Okay," Liz said, her hand leaving Natalie, as she threw back the covers and sauntered into the bathroom.

Natalie took a deep breath and got out of bed, finding a pair of sweatpants and a t shirt to put on until she came back upstairs for a shower later on. As much as she wanted to suggest showering together, this was all still incredibly new, and Natalie didn't want to get carried away. There was plenty of time.

Was there though?

She'd been applying for jobs in New York City and she was expecting a few companies to get in touch with her in the new year. Natalie didn't think anything of leaving a few weeks ago or even a few days ago. Yes, she was interested in Liz, but she didn't think she had a chance with her, so she kept moving, thinking ahead to what her next move would be, where her next job would be. Now, she didn't know. She'd enjoy today and the next few days, until Liz went back to school. She'd worry about a job interview when she got one. There was no point in thinking about it now.

Natalie went downstairs, letting her thoughts wander to the coffee that she was craving right now, but the doorbell rang, and Natalie turned on her heel just as she was about to head into the kitchen.

Who could it be? It was Christmas and very few people knew that she was living here now. Hopefully, it wasn't her parents trying to surprise her.

Natalie opened the door and the last person she expected to see was standing there.
